50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

"Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed."

This year, 20 July will mark fifty years since the first human landed on the moon. Apollo 11, with astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin and Michael Collins, were the first crewed mission to land safely on the moon and to then return back to Earth. This was an important event, at the time, as it had never been achieved before.
